Club Ride June 6, 2015, at Spider Lake Trails

Whether this is your first ride with the club or your next ride, this will be a good one.

We’re riding at the Spider Lake Trails, the first designated ATV trail system built by the MN DNR over 10 years ago, and still one of the best. It has everything from trails that are smooth and sandy to rough and rocky. All trails are open to Class I and II ATVs. Some are also open to off-highway motorcycles and 4WD trucks. And there’s a nice sandy beach at Spider Lake if you want to go for a swim.

Meet at the main parking lot at 9 a.m. Watch for the club trailer. Guided rides will be provided. Or ride at a quicker pace in your own group. You can’t get lost. There are about 30 miles of loops and they all lead back to the main Forest Road.

You can also ride to Spider Lake from Hackensack or Backus, through the Foot Hills State Forest. There’s a map showing the routes, at this MN DNR web site: http://files.dnr.state.mn.us/maps/state_forests/sft00019.pdf. Maps are also available at the DNR office in Backus.

Free lunch!
We’ll be grilling hot dogs for all members about noon at the trailer, on the club’s new Weber grill. Bring your favorite beverage. We’ll also have water and pop in a cooler.

Can’t ride in the morning?
Come at noon, have a hot dog and ride all afternoon! We’ll have all the club gear there. It’s also a good time to pay your 2015 club dues.

We hope you join us on this fun club ride!

Directions from Pine River:  West on Cty Rd 2 for about 11 miles. Watch for a brown State Forest sign that says “Spider McKinley Road.” Turn left onto the Forest Road, go 1 mile to large parking lot (kiosk has maps and reg books; outhouse).

For more information and a map of Spider Lake Trails, go to this DNR web site: http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/ohv/trail_detail.html?id=27.

Have you ever thought about adding a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is fundamental and everything. But think of if you added some great images or video clips to give your posts more, "pop"! Your content is excellent but with images and videos, this site could certainly be one of the best in its field. Great blog!

I think what you wrote was actually very logical. However, think about this, suppose you were to write a killer headline? I am not suggesting your content is not solid, however what if you added a post title that grabbed a person's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda boring. You could peek at Yahoo's front page and watch how they create post headlines to get people interested. You might add a video or a picture or two to get readers excited about what you've got to say. In my opinion, it would make your posts a little bit more interesting.
