CANCELLED - Saturday, April 18 -- ATVAM Region 3 All-Club Meeting, 9 am - 1 pm, Ironton American Legion Post #443. 8th annual meeting of 10 ATV clubs in central Minnesota, share information, tackle common topics, and work to connect trail systems. 

 

CANCELLED - Friday, May 8 — Club members to assist local chapter of North Country Trail on a work day on a section of this national hiking trail near Remer. Contact Dave Halsey for details if interested in helping brush the trail and repair a puncheon bridge. Dinner provided. 

 

CANCELLED - May 9 — Spring Meeting & Membership Drive, The Hub, 9 -11 am w/ Pancake Breakfast, followed by Club Ride to Foot Hills State Forest. Great chance to buy club gear and renew membership. Paul Vashro ride leader, weather and trail status permitting. Ride right from The Hub; do not park in church parking lot across the street. 

 

CANCELLED - May 16 — Club Ride — ATVAM Ride & Roast - McQuoid's Inn, Isle MN

Registration open at www.atvam.org. 

Friday evening fishing on Mille Lacs launch.

Saturday pancake breakfast at 7:30am, guided rides at 10am. Pig & turkey roast dinner at 5pm.

 

CANCELLED - May 30 — Adopt A Highway spring cleanup Meet at Huddle’s resort on Leech Lake at 10 am. Lunch paid by the club afterwards. Prize for best ditch “treasure.” 

 

STILL ON - June 13 — Club Ride at Round River Drive ATV Trails, Akeley. Meet at Stompin Grounds at 9 am. Have lunch at the lodge afterwards. Halsey ride leader.

 

STILL ON - June 27 — Club Ride on Blind Lake Trail. Meet at Swatara parking lot on Soo Line at  9 am. Ride south to shelter. Dave H will have trailer there for a BBQ lunch like last year. 

 

CANCELLED - Saturday July 4 — Club rides in Longville Parade / and Walker Parade (if interest)

Tuesday July 7 — Club rides in Hackensack Parade (if enough interest)

 

POSTPONED (watch for updates) - July 25 — Annual Meeting at The Hub, 10 am, 1 hour meeting with club ride to Huddles for free buffet lunch. 

 

Tuesday August 4 —Member/TA Volunteer opportunity: Hackensack National Nite Out, with trailer, visit with public, pass out trail maps and reg books, and color books/crayons.

 

August  8 — Ride on Hill City Trail. Meet at Swatara parking area at 9 am, ride to Hill City for lunch at restaurant.  Option: go to Remer Harvest Festival afterwards.

 

POSTPONED (watch for updates) August 15 — ATV Safety Class, WACC, 9am - 1pm, classroom and rider course.

 

August 29 — Annual Meeting, 9 am, in parking lot of Bear Pause Theater in Hackensack. One hour meeting with updates and board elections. Plenty of room for social distancing outside. Please pay annual dues, club gear also available for sale. Ride or trailer there, large parking lot. After meeting, ride ATVs to Whipholt beach for lunch, bring bag lunch and beverage, then return on same trail through Chippewa National Forest. Questions: call Dave at 612-723-1987

 

Sept 18-20 - Club ride at ATVAM Fall Ride & Rally, Ely, MN Hosted by Prospector ATV Club. Guided rides Friday and Saturday on local trails. Big Air ATV Show Saturday. Evening banquet with live/silent auctions. Registration and lodging options now available at www.atvam.org   

 

September 26 — Club Ride at UPM Blandin Trail. Meet at 9 am at parking area - 7.5 miles north of Hill City on 169 then east on Smith Dr.  See trail map on DNR website. Ride to Hill City for lunch. A very popular ride last year! Also National Public Lands Day.

 

October 10 — Club Fall Color Ride at Foot Hills State Forest Trail.  Meet in Hackensack at the City Park at 9 am. Plenty of room for parking trailers. Bring a sack lunch. Riding south to Spider Lake Trailhead and back. Paul is ride leader.

Thanks to a Polaris Trails grant, the Woodtick Wheelers were able to purchase a Polaris Sportsman 110 EFI to be used for youth safety training. 

Our club's ATV Safety Education Trailer was purchased with a $10,000 grant from the Polaris TRAILS program. Thousands of people have visited it at community events, where we passed out over 5,000 ATV maps, reg books and safety handouts. Thanks Polaris!
